SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability
How we’re working to reduce the footprint of sending flowers.
Our approach
We believe businesses have a responsibility to do their part for the environment and for the people they work with. Sustainability is something we’re working on across the business, from how we pack our flowers to how they reach you. These are the areas we’re focusing on.
What we’re working on
Packaging
We aim to use recyclable packaging, wrapping and florist supplies wherever we can, to cut down on plastic waste.
Less floral waste
We plan our stock around expected demand so fewer flowers go unsold, and we look for ways to give extra flowers a second life, such as dried arrangements.
Delivery
We plan delivery routes to avoid unnecessary driving. Our warehouses in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland keep flowers closer to the people receiving them. Deliveries to other states rely on third-party partners, and we’re looking at ways to lower the impact of those deliveries too.
People and community
Our team
We want Flower Club to be a good place to work, where people are supported to do their best work and grow.
Our community
We’d like to use what we do to support local causes and the communities we deliver to.
