Indoor plant care guide
Monstera
Bright, indirect light and water when the top few centimetres of soil are dry. Wipe the big leaves now and then to keep them glossy.
Peace lily
Happy in lower light. It droops when it’s thirsty and perks up again soon after a drink.
ZZ plant (Zanzibar gem)
One of the toughest indoor plants. It copes with low light and only needs water when the soil has dried out.
Cyclamen
A cool, bright spot away from heaters. Water from below by sitting the pot in a saucer of water for a short time.
Pets
Many popular indoor plants, including peace lilies, monstera and ZZ plants, are toxic to cats and dogs if chewed, so keep them out of reach. Cyclamen is also toxic to pets.
